Montenegrin police have banned the Baja Mali Knindzha concert scheduled for May 21 in Plevlja due to security risks, the Montenegrin Police Directorate announced.

Mirko Pajcin, known as Baja Mali Knindzha, is a controversial Serbian singer known for his fascist and 'Greater Serbia' lyrics.

"Security assessments have determined that there is a justified security risk that during the holding of the public gathering in question, there may be a violation of public order and peace and a threat to the safety of citizens and property, the commission of criminal offenses, a threat to human rights and freedoms and the special rights and freedoms of minorities of other persons, as well as a threat to the safety of persons and property," the statement said.

Holding the concert, as stated, would potentially disrupt the civic and multiethnic harmony of Montenegro, which is defined by the Constitution as a civic state, SRNA reports.

The organizer of the event is the Serbian Cultural Center "Patriarch Varnava".
