Kosovo continues to remain in a critical political situation. Lutfi Haziri commented on President Osmani's accusations against former Prime Minister Hoti.
The Hoti-Osmani clash reignited after the president's announced press conference, due to the uproar caused by a statement she made on behalf of President Trump, to which his chosen one, Richard Grenell, reacted, calling the public deceptions of the Kosovo president a disgrace.
According to Haziri, Hoti has been used and the LDK has gone through a bad period of political punishment. He also underlined that the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, should be careful with his behavior and statements, adding that according to him, he is behaving with double standards.
"Hoti's return to the Assembly is being treated as irrelevant. A figure who has left his mark. After all, it must be said that Hoti is a figure with political weight," he said on ABC.
He underlined that reaching the agreement in 2020 showed commitment to Kosovo's recovery, but it was damaged by the positions and policies followed subsequently.
He also accused the incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti of always using double standards.
"He continues to behave with double standards, with two political positions that do not allow each other to exercise. He tries to resolve political issues with the courts. Mr. Kurti takes one step forward and two steps back in politics. And we are suffering from this mentality. President Trump highlights Kosovo as a success story, but says that the agreement has been damaged. And President Osmani should also provide details on why the agreement of September 4, 2020 has been damaged," he said, among other things.
