Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, said the United States expect his country recognise the Independence of Kosovo.
In an interview with the Belgrade-based TV Pink, Vucic statet that the outgoing US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, fought for better relations with Serbia and thanked him for his job. “Ther progress is in that sense that we today speak open with America and nobody is imposing us nothing. They might have not change their stance towards Kosovo, but we are speaking open. Although America expects us to recognise Kosovo, our stance on this issue is being heard,” Vucic said among other things. Vucic said that Srbia will face a difficult autumn when it comes to Kosovo issue. Talking on early elections in Kosovo due to be held on 6 October, Vucic said that Albanians are trying to exclude Serbs rom decision making. /GazetaExpress/
