The meeting between US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, and deputy head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Vjosa Osmani, has ended. The meeting lasted half an hour and neither Kosnett nor Osmani have addressed the media. The LDK is expected to issue a press release on the details of this meeting.
US Ambassador to Pristina, Philip Kosnett, was seen on Monday entering the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) headquarters and is expected to meet the party’s deputy head, Vjosa Osmani, Gazeta Express reports.
Kosnett arrived at the LDK premises as this party is hosting a Vetevendosje delegation to negotiate forming a new government. The LDK and Vetevendosje have created working groups to negotiate harmonisation of programs. As earlier announced during today’s meeting the two parties will discuss on economic issues.
Kosovo held early parliamentry elections on 6 October, and based on the preleminary results the Vetevendosje won the elections. Its leader, AlbinKurti, told media on Sunday that he sees no obstacles on negotiations with the LDK to form new Government. /GazetaExpress/
