UN Security Council session on Kosovo, scheduled for 31 October, is likely to be postponed at the proposal of the United Kingdom, media in Belgrade are reporting.

Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti quoting its sources reported on Monday that the regular quarterly UN Security Council session could be adjourned after Kosovo Ambassador to US, Vlora Citaku, is reportedly unable to attend the session. Vecernje Novosti has learned that the United Kingdom, which is taking over the chairing of the Security Council from 1 November, stands behind it, so that the agenda proposed a month ago could, at its discretion, be changed or the issue of Kosovo debate removed from the agenda.
