Strategy on the Rule of Law in Kosovo presented

Caretaker minister of Justice, Selim Selimi, has presented Monday the Draft Strategy on The Rule of Law 2021-2025.

Selimi unveiling the document said the strategy has four objectives: Strengthening of judiciary and prosecution, strengthening of criminal justice, strengthening of access in judiciary, and strengthening of the anti-corruption fight.

He said the new strategy has been drafted taking the best foreign practices and to conclude the document they have held 45 meetings with over 100 participants coming from judiciary, prosecution offices, academics, civil society representatives and other relevant institutions. He said the strategy unvield on Monday is a product of a long and thorough process deriving from the Functional Review of the Rule of Law. Selimi thanked the European Union, US and British Embassy, UNDP for offering their expertise to draft this important document. /GazetaExpress/
