Srdjan Popovic, deputy head of Srpska List, a political entity backed by Belgrade, said on Monday that ballots from Serbia were unprotected and disputable because as he said, the Central Elections Commission (CEC) members from this party were expelled from the vote counting centres.
“According to latest information, our representatives cannot participate the vote counting process,” Popovic told Serbia’s state TV RTS. His reaction came after several members of the CEC were rushed to the hospital on Sunday with health problems after opening five ballot boxes from Serbia. Authorities announced that nine CEC officials had allergic reactions and skin problems after opening the ballot boxes which arrived from Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
