Slovakia, one of the five EU countries which does not recognize the independence of Kosovo, is expected to open a liaison office in Pristina. This was confirmed by Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli who met on Saturday Slovakian Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajcak.
Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, who is attending the World Economic Forum, taking place in Jordan, met in the sidelines of the meeting Slovakian Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajcak. In a Facebook post Pacolli wrote that Lajcak is expected to visit Kosovo in June and Slovakia will open its liaison office in Pristina soon. “Despite the fact that Slovakia has not recognized the Republic of Kosovo yet, the cooperation of our countries is in the good path. We are committed to build good relations with all EU member countries and our aspiration is to join the EU,” Pacolli wrote. “At my invitation, Lajcak will visit the Republic of Kosovo in June. Also the Slovakian Liaison Office will open soon,” Pacolli wrote. /GazetaExpress/
