Serbia’s President to ask Vatican not recognize Kosovo
Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic is set to visit The
Holy See and be hosted on Friday in an audience by Pope Francis at the Vatican.
This is part of Serbia’s efforts to undermine Kosovo’s independence.
Vucic in his recent media addressing said that he will
go to Pope Vrancis in Vatican to beg him not recognize Kosovo as an independent
state. Ambassadors of Quint (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France,
and Italy) in a joint press release last month have criticized Serbia’s
campaign against Kosovo’s statehood. Serbia is orchestrating an aggressive campaign
against Kosovo statehood, preventing the newest country in Europe to join
international organizations and is lobbying mainly in African countries to
withdraw recognition of Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
