North Macedonia authorities have released from detention former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) member Tomor Morina, who last month was arrested at the border at Serbia’s warrant wanted on war crimes.
Media are reporting that Morina who was arrested on 24 July at the border crossing of Bllace by North Macedonian police has been released after kept for two weeks in detention and is heading home. His release came after the Supreme Court in Skopje has decided that there are no legal grounds for the Kosovo citizen be extradited to Serbia. Authorities in Belgrade allege that Morina is suspected that as member of the KLA has committed war crimes against civilian population during the Kosovo war in 1998-1999. /GazetaExpress/
