Kosovo honours US Senator Bob Dole by erecting a statue in the capital, Pristina. On Tuesday the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, delivered in person a photo of the statue of Bob Dole created by Kosovo artist Luan Mulliqi which will be unveiled soon in Pristina.

It was my pleasure to deliver in person a photo of the statue of Senator Dole created by Luan Mulliqi which will be unveiled soon in Pristina. Remarkable man!,” Kosnett wrote in Twitter. Senator Dole thanked Kosnett for delivering a photo of the actual statue and for his work done while serving in Kosovo. “You’re doing a great job representing the United States in Kosovo. Please send my best wishes to your wonderful wife Alison. I appreciate her friendship and support over the years,” Dole replied to Kosnett in Twitter.

Kosovo authorities took a decision to erect a statue of US Senator Bob Dole on 22 July 2018 as a birthday present of Senator Dole who known for his efforts on solving Kosovo issues since the 1990s when Kosovo was still under Serbia’s rule. /GazetaExpress/
