Kurti indicates Serbian elections will not be allowed in Kosovo

Kosovo’s caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been asked by the media about the elections that are expected to be held in Serbia this year. After visiting the Municipality of Pristina, Kurti said that they have not received any request about holding of Serbia’s elections in Kosovo.

He also said that Serbian elections in Kosovo have never been held in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo and applicable laws and that the government he leads will defend the Constitution and laws. “We have no request for holding of elections of Serbia in Kosovo,” he said. “We consider that the Serbian elections in Kosovo have never been held in accordance with the Constitution and laws in force. We will implement and defend the Constitution and the law in force.” /GazetaExpress/
