Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has decided on Wednesday to recommend the Vote Counting Centre a recount of 303 polling stations due to technical errors.
Chairwoman of the CEC, Valdete Daka, said the technical errors happened during filling of forms reflecting election results after count of ballot boxes. Kosovo held on Sunday early parliamentary elections and after count of 100 percent regular votes the Vetevendosje movement is leading followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo. The LDK and other parties which lost the election, including the Democratic Party of Kosovo and Nisma, asked on Tuesday recount of votes at the national level due to irregularities, but their request was rejected by the CEC. The certification of the elections is expected in coming weeks after the CEC has yet to count conditional and by-mail ballots. /GazetaExpress/
