Kosovo sees rise in new COVID-19 cases after lifting restriction measures

Kosovo health authorities reported on Monday 27 new coronavirus cases, a daily increase a day after authorities have lifted most of the restriction measures  

The National Institute of Public Health said on Monday evening that out 172 samples, 27 were tested positive. One person has recovered.

The country’s tally of infections reached 1,110, and according to authorities 843 people have recovered, and 30 victims have been confirmed.

On 1 June Kosovo started implementation of the third phase of easing restriction measures, by opening kindergartens, malls, businesses, restaurants, cafeteria. The Ministry of Health said that until 20 June they will review the situation and decide accordingly to the situation. /GazetaExpress/
