Kosovo reports 214 new coronavirus cases – 64 patients recover

Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health recorded 214 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday bringing country’s total to 4.100. The Institute in its daily bulletin said that 60 patients have recovered.

The Institute said that they have tested 413 samples and 214 out of them were tested positive. “The total number of coronavirus cases reached 4.100 out of 26.425 people tested for the virus. Also 86 people have died of the infections and all of them have other underlying conditions,” the Institute said. According to the statement with today’s 60 recoveries the number of those recovered from the virus reached 1.951. Most of the COVID-19 positive cases are from Pristina (68), Ferizaj (55), Mitrovica (35), Fushe Kosove (13), Prizren (10), and other municipalities.

The Government of Kosovo has introduced curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 in the four municipalities with most cases – Pristina, Prizren, Ferizaj and Vushtrri. The Government announced late on Wednesday that after consultations with health authorities and at the request of local authorities they also introduced a curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 in the four Serb-majority municipalities in northern Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
