Kosovo reports 11 deaths and 539 new COVID-19 cases

Kosovo health officials reported 539 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Another 11 Kosovo citizens have died, bringing the country’s death toll to 1.016.

The National Institute of Public Health in its bulletin said that health authorities have tested 1,219 samples and 539 of them have been tested positive with COVId-19. The new cases bring country’s total to 39,596 since the first case was confirmed in early March. The Institute said that in the last 24 hours 574 people have recovered from the virus bringing the number of those recovered to 25.001. The official data show that the number of active COVID-19 cases is 13,579. /GazetaExpress/
