Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani hosted Wednesday new KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajari, congratulating him on the new duty and thanked the NATO-led peacekeeping mission for ensuring a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
Mentioning KFOR’s role since 1999, President Osmani emphasized that this peacekeeping mission has contributed not only to security, but also with various infrastructure projects, and has provided help in facing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the President’s Press Service said in a statement. Osmani has mentioned also KFOR’s cooperation with the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) adding that Kosovo’s goal is joining NATO. According to President’s Office statement Major General Kajari has expressed his readiness to continue cooperation and regular consultations within the KFOR’s mandate in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
