Kosovo President appoints Major General Bashkim Jashari as the new KSF commander

Kosovo President and supreme commander of the Kosovo Security Forces (KSC) Vjosa Osmani, has appointed Tuesday Major General Bashkim Jashari as the new commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Gazeta Express reports.

 The President’s Office said in a statement that the appointment was made in compliance with the Law on KSF, following the proposal made by the Minister of Defence and the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

Prior to the appointment of the new KSF Commander, President Osmani decreed dismissal of the KSF Commander Lieutenant General Rrahman Rama after he offered his resignation. /GazetaExpress/
