Kosovo PM wants to report at the Parliament after Agreement with Serbia in Washington

Kosovo prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, expressed his readiness to report at the Parliament on the Agreement on the normalization of economic relations between Kosovo and Serbia, signed on 4 September at the White House.

The Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement confirming that PM Hoti send a letter to Speaker of Parliament Vjosa Osmani, and members of its Presidency asking them to enable reporting at the Parliament. “On September 4, 2020, in Washington, at the White House, an important Agreement was reached for our country regarding the normalization of economic relations between Kosovo and Serbia. This is a very important step towards the final agreement on full normalization of relations and mutual recognition between the two countries,” the statement reads.

“Based on my constitutional and legal competencies and responsibilities, I am ready to report to the MPs in upcoming sessions of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on the agreement in question, as well as on the dialogue process in general,” Hoti said in a statement. /GazetaExpress/
