Kosovo PM Kurti and Serbian President Vucic to meet today in Brussels

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic are expected to meet today in Brussels for the first time as part of the high-level dialogue facilitated by the European Union.

Tuesday’s meeting will be facilitated by the EU High Representative Josep Borrell, who is supported in this by EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak. There will be a statement to the media by the High Representative at the start of the meeting at 8:20 and a statement to the media by the EU Special Representative after the conclusion of the meeting (around 13:00).

Kurti reporting at the Assembly of Kosovo last week said that he will travel to Brussels, not to resume talks of his predecessor, but to discuss a new chapter of the Dialogue.

Whereas Serbian president Vucic insists that parties in Brussels should discuss implementation of the Agreement on establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. Authorities in Pristina say that this Agreement was in violation with the Constitution and as such it should not be implemented. /GazetaExpress/
