Kosovo PM dismisses Serb minister for calling Albanians ‘terrorists’
Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has sacked minister of Local Government Administration, Ivan Todosijevic, for calling Albanians ‘terrorists’ and denying the massacre of Serbian forces against Albanian civilians in Recak in 1999.
Haradinaj took Facebook to announce that he had fired Teodosijevic adding that in his Cabinet “there is no place for anyone who offends others on ethnic, racial, religious or other bases.” Todosijevic said the massacre of Kosovo Albanian civilians in Recak in 1999, which triggered NATO’s air campaign against Serbian military and police targets to stop the war in Kosovo, was a “pure fabrication.” He also called the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) members as “terrorists.”
“It is meaningless to see one of our colleagues to day expresses such ignorance, hatred and insult for the Recak massacre victims, and other victims of Slobodan Milosevic’s regime,” Haradinaj wrote. Todosijevic is member of Srpska List, a political entity represented in the Government of Kosovo, which is under direct control of Belgrade. /GazetaExpress/
