Kosovo Parliament to vote new Government on June 3

Kosovo Parliament Presidency will convene today to decide on a request filed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) asking an urgent session to vote the new Government headed by Avdullah Hoti. Gazeta Express has learned the Parliament will convene tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:00 and vote new Government.  

Chief of LDK caucus, Arben Gashi, submitting the request at the Parliament on Monday said they asked the urgent session to be held on Wednesday and said the LDK-centered coalition has majority of votes to vote new Government. Gashi handed over the request after the Constitutional Court of Kosovo published on Monday the final decision confirming the President Hashim Thaci’s decree nominating Avdullah Hoti of the LDK as prime minister designate was not in violation with the Constitution. The President’s decree was challenged at the Court by the Vetevendosje who are asking snap election after the Government headed by their leader Albin Kurti was dismissed in a no-confidence vote in Parliament on 25 March. /GazetaExpress/
