Leader of biggest opposition party in Kosovo – LDK, Isa Mustafa invited on Monday to a meeting the chairman of the Social-Democratic Party (PSD), Shpend Ahmeti.
The two opposition leaders chose one of Pristina’s restaurants to meet as discussion on pre-election coalition between parties continue. The meeting was held at Mustafa’s invitation, and reportedly the main topic is a potential coalition between the two parties for upcoming early elections. The meeting comes days after the PSD announced entering a pre-election coalition with Ramush Haradinaj’s party – AAK. Mustafa is expected to meet today also leaders of AAK Ramush Haradinaj and Nisma, Fatmir Limaj.
Parties have started talks on pre-election coalition after Ramush Haradinaj resigned last month as country’s prime minister. Parties agreed to call a Parliament meeting on 22 August and dissolve current legislature paving the way for early elections. /GazetaExpress/
