Kosovo Government dismisses directors of Police, Customs, and Tax Administration

Kosovo Government has confirmed Friday dismissal of the directors of the Kosovo Police, Tax Administration, and acting director of the Kosovo Customs.

The Office of Prime Minister, Avdullah Hoti, confirmed the dismissal of Tax Administration Director (TAK), Ilir Murtezaj, as well acting director of Kosovo Customs, Ibrahim Xhaka. Earlier today the Government has confirmed dismissal of the Kosovo Police (KP) general director, Rashit Qalaj.

The Government of Kosovo told Gazeta Express that the Prime Minister in accordance with his legal competencies and based on the recommendations of the ministries of Finances and Internal Affairs has decided to release from duties chiefs of police, customs and tax administration.

The Government has decided to appoint Bajram Rexha as acting Director of Kosovo Customs and Ekrem Hysenaj acting director of TAK. Earlier on Friday the Government announced that after dismissal of Qalaj of the KP director it has appointed Samedin Mehmeti as acting director. /GazetaExpress/
