Kosovo Finance Minister presents second part of financial recovery package

Caretaker minister of Finances and Transfers, Besnik Bislimi, has presented on Thursday the second financial package on economic recovery affected by COVID-19 pandemic. He said the second package has an impact of 1.2 billion euro in next five years in country’s economy,

Bislimi said the primarily focus of the new financial package will be support of loans for the businesses affected by COVID-19 pandemic, and he called the financial stimulus as “ambitious”

He said the package is only an initial draft, and its implementation requires fulfilment of some preconditions by the Government and Parliament. Bislimi called on the Parliament to ratify international agreements considering that the source of financing the package is related to loans taken by international financial institutions. /GazetaExpress/
