Kosovo establishes diplomatic relations with East Timor

Kosovo Foreign Ministry announced it has established diplomatic relations with East Timor, Gazeta Express reports.

Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the agreement on establishing diplomatic ties was signed in New York, at the office of the Permanent Mission of the Democratic Republic of East Timor in UN. According to a statement establishing diplomatic relations is aimed at mutual interest of both countries to strengthen international peace and security. At the same time Kosovo by signing the agreement on establishment of diplomatic relations strengthens its international statehood. /GazetaExpress/
