Kosovo awards Grenell with Presidential Medal of Merits for his contribution in Dialogue

Kosovo president Hashim Thaci awarded US President Donald Trump’s envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Richard Grenell with the Presidential Medal of Merits.

Thaci awarding Grenell who Monday visited Kosovo said the Medal of merits is awarded for Grenell’s exceptionally contribution in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. “What others failed to achieve Grenell succeeded,” Thaci said. According to Kosovo President the White House Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on economic normalisation reached on September 4, which was brokered by Grenell, will bring stability in Kosovo and the region. “I am proud that I had a chance to work with you over the last two years to reach this agreement,” Thaci said during a ceremony held in Pristina.

On Friday, Thaci also awarded US President Trump with Kosovo’s Order of Freedom “for his exceptional contribution for the freedom of Kosovo and the strengthening of Peace and reconciliation in the region.” /GazetaExpress/
