Trade Union of Workers at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” held another strike today from 08:00 to 10:00, as previously announced by the Union.
Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority has called on trade union and Airport authorities to negotiate and find a mutually acceptable solution to the conflict and to stop the strike at the Airport. In a press release they say that the Civil Aviation Inspectors during the strike have closely monitored the operation in accordance with the rules and standards applicable to security of operations and have observed no irregularities. “The strike is expected to continue tomorrow, on 21.08.2019 from 08:00 to 14:00. Passengers are requested to monitor the Airport’s press releases and to plan travel itineraries in close coordination with the airlines or their representatives,” the press release says. /GazetaExpress/
