Pristina International Airport workers staged
on Monday morning a one-hour strike dissatisfied with the working conditions and
protesting high fines that some of the airport employees got from the management
of one of the busiest airports in Balkans.
The strike has caused long queues but no flight was cancelled, according to the trade union of the Pristina International Airport workers. The trade union announced that if their demands sent to the management are not met they will continue with a two-hour strike on Tuesday starting from 08:00-10:00, and on 21 August they will stage a long-day strike. The trade union asks among other things improve of working conditions, leveling of salaries, regulation of annual leave according to legislation in place and meal allowances. /GazetaExpress/
