The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) issued a statement saying that they have elected vice-chairmen, new secretary and heads of departments, Gazeta Express reports.
During a meeting held on Wednesday after the party elected its chairmanship, the PDK headed by Kadri Veseli announced new appointments. The PDK is expected to remain in opposition for the first time since 2007, after losing early elections held in October 2019.
The PDK announced that their member and outgoing minister of Health, Uran Ismajli, has been elected as general secretary of the party, whereas Agim Aliu and Shaqir Totaj as vice-chairmen. Outgoing minister of Justice, Abelard Tahiri has been appointed to look after organization of the party, Betim Gjoshi as head of the Department on Electoral Issues, whereas Blerand Stavileci as executive director of the party. The PDK has appointed other members of the Steering Committee in various position, in its first step of reorganization following election. /GazetaExpress/
