The Government of Japan has donated €800 thousand for Kosovo. This aid will be used to purchase medical equipment and strengthening of fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Kosovo’s minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, in a Facebook post Monday said that she signed an agreement with the non-resident Japan Ambassador to Kosovo, Akira Mizutani, for a donation which would help Kosovo combat Coronavirus pandemic.
“This is not the first time Japan is helping us, as a friend and our strategic partner in the East Asia. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens I thanked Ambassador Mizutani, the people of Japan and the Government of Japan for the help Japan gave to every state-building phase of Kosovo. We are committed to further deepen our mutual relations, focusing on economy,” Haradinaj-Stublla said. /GazetaExpress/
