Israel has welcomed the decision of the government of Kosovo to adopt the working definition of Antisemitism.
The Government of Kosovo during a meeting Monday adopted the non-legally binding working definition of Antisemitism, as employed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
Spokesperson of Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lior Haiat congratulated Kosovo Foreign Minister, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, for taking the important step towards adopting the important decision. “Israel congratulates the minister of foreign affairs Meliza Hardinaj for taking the important step towards adopting the IHRA definition for antisemitism, an essential tool in the fight against the phenomena,” Haiat said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Kosovo FM Haradinaj-Stublla in a Tweet on Monday said that as a victim of genocidal actions and ethnic cleansing, Kosovo understands very well the weight of discrimination and hate. “Its adoption today lists Kosovo with its strategic allies,” she said. /GazetaExpress/
