Head of EU Office calls on government formation after visiting LDK

Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, has visited on Wednesday the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) when she met senior officials of this party.

Apostolova told media that the EU is interested to see government formation as soon as possible. Commenting on her visit to the LDK, Apostolova said that this is just a regular meeting with Kosovo parties. “This is a normal visit as part of visits with all parties,” Apostolova stated leaving the LDK premises.

The Head of the EU Office visits the LDK a day after its chairman Isa Mustafa hosted US Ambassador Philip Kosnett and British Ambassador Nicholas Abbott. The LDK is negotiating a deal on co-governance with the Vetevendosje who won 6 October elections. But after three months of negotiations the two parties have not found a common language on sharing ministerial posts. Representatives of international community and ambassadors have continuously called on Kosovo parties to conclude the agreement and form the new government as soon as possible. /GazetaExpress/
