Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog, has welcomed appointment of the new Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Gazeta Express reports.

Ambassador Szunyog said that he is pleased to see that one of the EU Young Cell Scheme graduates has been appointed as the Director of KIA.

“Pleased to see that one of EU Young Cell Scheme graduates has been appointed Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency. Young Cell Scheme graduates have a great potential; happy that they contribute directly to Kosovo’s institutional capacities,” Szunyog wrote on Twitter.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti appointed Thursday Petrit Ajeti as new chief of country’s intelligence. /GazetaExpress/
