Hague prosecutors summoned for questioning ex-KLA member

The Hague based Specialist Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) has summoned for questioning former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Afrim Bytyqi. The news has been confirmed by the head of the Association of KLA Veterans, Hysni gucati.

“I just got informed that the Specialist Court has summoned former KLA member Afrym Bytyqi from Kishnica,” Gucati said in a statement posted on Facebook.

The KLA Veterans are expected to protest on Thursday after the SPO in a press release issued last week announced filing of an indictment against Kosovo president Hashim Thaci and leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Kadri Veseli. Both Thaci and Veseli were senior members of the KLA during the 1998-1999 war in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
