Grenell resigns from the State Department but remains US special envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue

Richard Grenell announced on Monday in social media that he resigned from his post in the US State Department. But he remains as US President Donald Trump’s special envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, his Office confirmed.  

“Today I officially resigned from the State Department. And President Trump presented me with a going away gift – my Cabinet Chair. ‘Acting’ Cabinet Secretaries do not get their chairs but President Trump wanted me to have mine, because, as he said, ‘You are the First Openly Gay Cabinet Secretary and it’s a big deal,’” Grenell wrote on social media, Gazeta Express.

But he will keep his post as US presidential envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. This was confirmed by his spokesperson, Dick Custin. In an answer to T7 Custin said that Grenell will keep the post of special envoy in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. /GazetaExpress/
