German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas welcomed resumption of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue facilitated by the EU and announced visiting Pristina and Belgrade.
“It is obvious that I have to travel to Serbia and Kosovo and send a strong signal that the dialogue is a priority,” Maas said during a presentation of priorities of the German EU Presidency before members of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs in Brussels.
Maas said that recently he hosted in berlin the EU Special Representative on Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, adding that Germany remains committed to resumption of the dialogue. “These are countries aspiring a European future and we should now allow them give up on us, and we know that others have an interest to influence that region,” Maas said. /GazetaExpress/
