The EU Office/EU Special Representative is
organising a visit to “Naim Frasheri” school, which is soon to be connected
with district heating network provided by Termokos.
Works worth 6milion euro are ongoing for
replacement of existing pipelines in order to improve the reliability and
quality of heating supply to existing consumers, but also to extend the heating
supply to new customers in Pristina. At present the works are almost completed
to connect Kalabria neighbourhood, Kindergarten “Buzeqeshja”, the Faculty of
Architecture and Police Station 2. In Dardania neighbourhood some of the old
pipelines and substations are replaced while in Sunny Hill the works are almost
completed on replacement of pipelines to improve the quality of heating supply.
Next year the works will continue for extension of network to Mati
Under IPA 2015 programme the EUO in Kosovo
is further supporting the development of energy infrastructure in the country
through upgrade of district heating network in Pristina and new heating plant
based on biomass in Gjakova, worth 21milion euro in total. /GazetaExpress/
