Kosovo’s acting president suspends all job vacancies opened by Thaci

Kosovo’s acting president, Vjosa Osmani, took a decision to suspend all job vacancies of the President’s Office, announced by former president Hashim Thaci, Gazeta Express reports.

Gazeta Express got hold of the Osmani’s decision when she suspends and orders halting of opening of new job vacancies within the President’s Office pending further notice.

On Wednesday Osmani took a decision to revoke four decrees on appointing general consuls in Prague, Ljubljana, Skopje, and Tirana. All these decrees were signed by president Hashim Thaci who resigned after the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC) confirmed an indictment against him on war crime charges. Based on the Constitution of Kosovo, Osmani as Speaker of the Parliament assumed Thaci’s duties as acting president. /GazetaExpress/
