The Kosovo Government building was illuminated in rainbow colors on Tuesday evening marking the IDAHOBIT, Gazeta Express reports.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti posted a photo of the Government building with the rainbow colours, stating that all are equal no matter what our sexual orientation or gender identity are. “Today we mark #IDAHOT, a day that reminds us that we are all equal — no matter what our sexual orientation or gender identity. Let us stand together against injustice and prejudice, today and every day,” Kurti said.
On 17 May marked International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) – a day to raise awareness of violence and discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) people. /GazetaExpress/
