Kiana Kryeziu Kosovo’s first alpine skier at the Winter Olympics

Kiana Kryeziu is set to become Kosovo’s first skier at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing next month after she met entry requirements Friday.

Kryeziu will compete in the giant slalom event after finishing 51 in the discipline at the Kronplatz of Italy, sufficient to win required points of the International Ski Federation (FIS). Kryeziu who is only 17 will enter the history of Kosovo sports, becoming the first woman to represent Kosovo in Winter Olympics. Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing from 4-20 February 2022. /GazetaExpress/
