It looks like Elon Musk is moving full speed ahead with his previously announced plans to get rid of "blocking" as we know it as a feature in X.
In a post, the X Engineering team announced that this change is coming soon and will provide more details on how it will be implemented.
Basically, if you block someone and your posts are public, they can still see them.
But, they will not be able to like, reply or repost, foreign media write, reports Telegraph.
According to the XEng account, this change is meant to increase transparency, as users will now be able to see if others are trying to hide or share harmful or private information about them.
It is known that the change was announced in May.
However, we now appear to be getting much closer to that timeline.
Locking in X used to be simple.
If you blocked an account, they couldn't see your posts or interact with them. This new change makes blocking less restrictive.
It remains to be seen how this change will affect users.
