The government continues to be deaf to warnings and ignore the risks that threaten citizens' living standards, failing to take measures to protect them from new price shocks, the DUI statement emphasizes.
All professional forecasts and movements on international energy exchanges indicate that a new and significant increase in oil prices is expected from next Monday. This increase risks triggering a new wave of price increases for products and services, further increasing the burden on families and businesses.
The Democratic Union for Integration once again calls on the competent institutions to consider our proposals presented days ago, in order to help citizens and companies and prevent a new price shock that will ultimately be paid by all citizens.
If decisions through the Parliament are needed to implement these measures, DUI once again expresses its readiness for full support, so that this crisis does not fall on the burden of the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.
