A 2-year-old child drowned in a family swimming pool tonight. The tragedy occurred in the village of Zallq, Istog.
The case was also confirmed to Gazeta Express by the police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi.
"Around 19:40, the police were notified of a case in the village of Zallq in the Istog Municipality. A female child drowned in a family swimming pool. She was urgently taken to the Family Medicine Center. According to doctors, the victim arrived without signs of life," said Gashi.
Gashi says that the prosecutor has been notified of the case and that investigations have begun.
