A serious incident occurred tonight in Gjakova, where a woman died after falling into the water from the Moglica Bridge.
This was confirmed to Gazeta Express by the police spokesperson for the Gjakova region, Sheremet Elezaj.
The latter announced that initially, the victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, but the hospital later announced that her condition had worsened and she had passed away.
''Around 19:55 we were informed that an adult woman had fallen into the water from the so-called "Moglica Bridge", on "Ymer Pula" street in Gjakova. Police patrols, together with the fire department and the emergency team, immediately went to the scene, where the victim had already been pulled out of the water. Medical personnel provided first aid and then she was sent for further medical treatment.
At around 21:30 PM, we were notified by the hospital that the victim's health condition had deteriorated and she had passed away.
"Currently, the necessary investigative actions are being taken to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," the Police announced. /Express newspaper
