In the last ten days for the presidential election, the next meeting between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku is expected to be held tomorrow.
Sources from Gazeta Express have announced that the meeting will take place on Monday at 11:00, specifically on the issue of the president.
This meeting comes two weeks after Kurti and Abdixhiku met, but the approximately two-hour conversation ended without any concrete results.
There are currently no signs of any progress in reaching a consensus on electing the president, but the Vetëvendosje Movement has warned of intensified political efforts by Prime Minister Albin Kurti to reach an agreement.
Arbër Rexhaj, from this party, stated to KosovaPress that next week is expected to be characterized by more frequent meetings with Kurti, emphasizing the need for the process to move from general discussions to concrete proposals for names.
