The Trade Union Federation of Technical Workers of the Private Sector of Kosovo (FSPTSPK) has announced that the strike of technical workers in schools in the Municipality of Pristina has been suspended, after the request for the execution of April salaries was met.
According to the announcement, a meeting was held today at the federation's offices with representatives of technical workers, where it was decided that the strike would be suspended until May 25, 2026.
This decision, according to FSPTSPK, was taken to give responsible institutions and companies time to fulfill the workers' other request, namely the conclusion of employment contracts for all technical workers.
The Federation has warned that if the workers' demands are not met by the specified deadline, the union bodies will decide to continue union actions, including the return of the strike.
