If you use Chrome, update your browser immediately.
Google has issued a new warning to Chrome users, with millions of people advised to check their settings immediately. The latest update brings three critical bug fixes, which are rated "High" by the US tech giant.
Although these flaws do not appear to have been actively exploited on the Internet (zero-day threats), they remain serious, and it is essential that all browsers are updated and running the latest version.
According to Google:
“The Stable channel has been updated to version 145.0.7632.116/117 for Windows/Mac and 144.0.7559.116 for Linux, which will be released in the coming days/weeks.”
They also thanked all the security researchers who contributed during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from reaching the Stable channel.
Major bugs fixed:
High CVE-2026-3061: Out-of-bounds read in Media.
High CVE-2026-3062: Out-of-bounds read and write in Tint.
High CVE-2026-3063: Inappropriate implementation.
This warning comes a few days after Google also fixed another very serious bug, considered a zero-day, which could have given hackers the ability to access the browser and execute dangerous code without the knowledge of users.
According to Malwarebytes:
"Google has released a patch for a high-risk Chrome zero-day, marked CVE-2026-2441, a memory error in the way the browser handles certain font functions that attackers are already exploiting."
How to update Chrome:
Click on the More menu (three dots in the upper right corner).
Go to Settings > About Chrome.
If an update is available, Chrome will download it automatically.
Restart your browser to complete the update and protect yourself from these security vulnerabilities. /GazetaExpress/
