The Ministry of Economy and Labor published today a public call for financial support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for craftsmen, for which 11 million and 340 thousand denars have been provided.
40% of the proven expenses for the purchase of new machinery and work tools will be co-financed, but not more than 200 thousand denars per applicant. Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi said that the goal is to help domestic companies invest more easily.
"Our goal is clear to help domestic companies invest more easily, modernize production, increase productivity and create better conditions for work and development. In addition to this measure, the Ministry of Economy and Labor will announce two important public calls in the coming period within the framework of the program for supporting the processing industry and social responsibility for 2026," said Durmishi.
He explained that the first public call is about compensating part of the expenses for the establishment, implementation and certification of standards in the processing industry, with a total budget of 2 million denars. While the second public call, he added, is oriented towards strengthening cooperation between processing industry companies and universities, through the implementation of joint projects. 5 million denars have been foreseen for this measure.
Durmishi invited all interested companies and craftsmen to carefully follow the conditions of the public calls and apply. The support concerns investments made during 2025 and 2026, while micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with mainly domestic capital, as well as craftsmen registered according to legal provisions, are eligible to participate. The deadline for application is June 30, 2026.
