Gazmend Demolli is used to being on the highest step of the winners' podium, but after the race in Ferizaj, he had a special feeling.
While Gazi came first in Class 14 and in the overall standings of the first auto slalom competition of the year, his son Olti debuted in an official auto slalom competition and finished in the best possible way, placing first in Class 12.
"I'm pleased that I started the championship with a victory, but today was a special feeling, as Olti also debuted with a victory. I hope he also has a good career in auto sports. Regarding today's competition, it is worth highlighting the very good organization and the satisfactory participation of the competitors, which are positive signals for an interesting championship.", said Gazmend Demolli after the victory.
The member of the Prishtina Racing Team, achieved victory with a total time of 03:22.628 (01:42.074 and 01:40.554).
Second in the overall standings was Valon Jaha of Prizren D&G with a time of 03:33.436 (01:43.030 and 01:42.406 – 8 second penalty).
The winners' podium was completed by Belkim Fazliu, also of Prizren D&G with a time of 03:45.184 (01:54.877 and 01:50.307).
In the team standings, first position went to AK Ferizaj with 60 points, followed by Auto Kosova – Ferizaj (50), Prishtina RT (45), AK Drenica (38), AK Prizreni D&G (27), AK Gjakova 137 (20), KMDK (20) and Spirit Karting Kosova with 15 points.
Overall, the competition was considered very good, while the Ferizaj Municipal Council proved that high-level competitions are organized with great work and dedication.
